Welcome!

Thanks for visiting the web site of Boy Scout Troop 539. The Troop is a member of the Suffolk County Council, Matinecock District.

Our Troop meets every Tuesday night at the KingsPark Middle School cafeteria, except on those days when the school is closed. The meeting is held from 7:00 to 8:30, the opening ceremony begins at 7:15.

Summer Camp Meeting June 16

To Scouts and Parents,

The Pre-Summer Camp TROOP Meeting is Tuesday June 16. This meeting is for All Scouts attending Camp and their Parents. No uniforms are required for this meeting.

Summer camp this year. will be from July 12-18.

Each Scout and Leader attending summer camp must have a medical examination by a physician and a medical form that has been properly filled out prior to their arrival at camp. Typically a physical exam needs to be scheduled well in advance; so plan ahead and check with your doctor.

Note these Important Dates:

May:        Make doctor’s appt for summer camp physical
May 19:    Early bird camp fee due. ($305.00)
June 16:   Standard camp fee due. ($335.00)
June 16:   Summer Camp meeting. (parents required)
July 7:      Medical forms due. (received and verified)
July 12:   Depart for Summer Camp.
